You can also help in your neighborhood in various ways.

--wear a safety pin, to signify that you are against harassment of immigrants

--get a "hate has no home here" sign and post it in your window to designate your home as a safe house

 --get a "hate has no business here" sign for your business, store or office

--sign up for a neighbor walk in your area to help immigrants and underrepresented get to and from where they need to go without harassment

--if you see someone being harassed, either intervene and stop it, or if it's unsafe to intervene, call the police or 911 and try to get video phone footage of the incident while help is on the way
